Swiss Museum of Transport, Lucerne: Project involving the development and construction of a modular transport frame with crosspieces and longitudinal pieces for moving and turning the Gotthard railroad model, including dismantling of the roof supports by our expert mechanics.

After being moved into the locomotive hall (Friday, 16 February 2007 starting at 2:00 p.m.), the Gotthard Railroad was hydraulically lifted up together with the platform. Eight hydraulic cylinders from BAUBERGER AG performed this task. The gallery was subsequently assembled in about one week with the help of assembly crane and forklift equipment powered by natural gas and electricity.

Incidentally, Bauberger AG has also relocated many exhibits at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne: the Mesoscaphe manned underwater submarine, the legendary airplane known as the Fieseler Stork as well as the legendary Coronado airliner, 50 locomotives and streetcars (in german) as well as the legendary Green Crocodile train.
