Montylift Takes to the Water
Second Place Honors for the Montylift
After the juniors, it was now the seniors turn. The combination quad shell for sweep rowing and sculling of the See-Club Luzern was in action for the second time last Sunday. The crew consisting of the two students Kevin Stadelmann and Tobie Quartenoud, the chemist Timon Wernas and the physician Luca Schuler came in third in the category Men’s Senior Coxless Four. They covered the 2000 m Regatta Lauerz (SZ) in less than six and half minutes (6:24:32). The ambitious amateurs train 18 to 22 hours a week. Their next competition is the international regatta in Savoie Mont Blanc at Lac d’Aiguebelette on May 10 and 11. Our wish for them: May there always be enough water beneath their keel.
